These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at tidypatterns.com and all related services, including the purchase and download of digital craft patterns. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using TidyPatterns, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have parental consent) and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Your Account

When you create an account with us, you are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
Providing accurate and up-to-date information

3. Purchases & Digital Products

All purchases on TidyPatterns are for digital pattern files. By completing a purchase:

You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the pattern(s)
Downloads are available immediately after successful payment
All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise indicated
We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice

4. Pattern License & Usage Rights

When you purchase a pattern from TidyPatterns, you are granted specific rights to use that pattern. Please review the following carefully:

✓ What You CAN Do

Personal Use: Create unlimited projects for yourself, family, and friends
Sell Finished Items: You MAY sell finished handmade items created using our patterns. Simply credit "Pattern by TidyPatterns" or "Design by TidyPatterns" in your listing or product tag
Gift Your Creations: Give away finished items made from our patterns
Teach Classes: Use patterns in teaching environments (each student must purchase their own copy)

✗ What You CANNOT Do

Resell or Redistribute: Share, resell, or distribute the pattern files in any form
Claim as Your Own: Present the pattern design as your own creation
Mass Production: Use patterns for factory or mass-produced items
Create Derivative Works: Modify and sell the pattern design itself

Commercial License for Kit Sellers

Are you a kit seller or craft supply business looking to include our patterns in your product kits? We offer commercial licensing options!

Commercial rights allow you to bundle our patterns with supplies (threads, fabric, needles, etc.) and sell them as complete kits to your customers.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on TidyPatterns, including but not limited to patterns, designs, images, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the exclusive property of TidyPatterns and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The purchase of a pattern grants you a license to use that specific pattern according to these Terms. It does not transfer any ownership of intellectual property rights to you.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use our services for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
Scrape, harvest, or collect data from our website without permission

7. All-Access Pass

The All-Access Pass provides unlimited access to download all patterns in our library, including future releases. The same usage rights and restrictions (Section 4) apply to all patterns downloaded through the All-Access Pass.

The All-Access Pass is a one-time purchase granting lifetime access. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features of the All-Access Pass with reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimers & Limitations

Disclaimer of Warranties: Our services and digital products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, TidyPatterns shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

Accuracy: While we strive to ensure accuracy in our patterns, we do not guarantee that patterns are error-free. Please review patterns carefully before beginning your project.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation or, if necessary, through appropriate legal channels.
